Penny McCord, 68, of Farragut, TN, member of First Baptist Church Concord, went to be with Lord after her courageous six year battle with cancer. She was at home surrounded by her family. Penny was a kind, gentle woman and an inspiration to all who knew her. Until her final days of life, Penny continued to care daily for her mother. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Vogt and mother-in-law Josephine Walsh. She leaves behind her husband, George McCord; son Todd Mills and his wife Susan: stepdaughter Kathy Poling and her husband Karm of Columbus, Ohio; stepson David McCord of Oakland, CA; grandchildren Elliott, Mattie, Tori, Dustin, Geoff, and Mari; mother, Margaret Vogt St. Onge; brothers Richard Vogt and Chris (Sherry) Vogt; nephew Chase Vogt and niece Raven Vogt. Friends may visit Click Funeral Home in Farragut on Sunday, November 22nd between 2:00-3:00pm to reflect on Penny's life.
